David Nestor,
RMHDC Board Vice President,
wins 2005 Eagle
Award!

This prestigious award recognizes outstanding leadership or accomplishments
related to affordable housing development, design, funding and financing;
advocacy for fair housing and overcoming NIMBY (not in my backyard) issues;
and the provision of resident-focused services such as supportive services
and housing for special needs populations.
The
award itself is a bronze eagle soaring high into the sky. This image honors
the men, women, organizations, businesses and agencies that soar with
the eagles in their work. Since it’s beginning, many nominees
have been considered for the Eagle Award and it has come to represent
a notable achievement within the Colorado housing community.
The Eagle Award trophies were presented during the Eagle Awards Dinner
on Wednesday, October 19th, 2005, at the 17th
Annual Colorado Housing NOW! conference held in Breckenridge.

David is joined
by Laura, his daughter, and Annie, his wife, at the awards ceremony.

RMHDC staff cheers
for David. Pictured (seated): Randy Craven, Family Services Supervisor,
Susan Vaho, Former Director of Building Development & Asset Management,
Scott Romero, Director of Volunteers & Family Services, and (standing)
Joyce Alms-Ransford, Executive Director.
